January 27, 2025 – Northport NY – M.C. Records is excited to announce that its artist Guy Davis has garnered two Blues Music Award Nominations. The first is for his record The Legend of Sugarbelly in the category of Acoustic Blues Album released on Aug. 23. He is also nominated for Acoustic Blues Artist. You can check out all the nominees and vote here. The Award ceremony will take place in Memphis on May 8.

This marks Guy’s 26th Blues Music Award Nomination and the fifth release on which Guy and M.C. Records collaborated. His previous two were nominated for the Traditional Blues Grammy Awards.
