M.C. Records Celebrates Women’s History Month With Its 5th Annual Playlist

March 6th, 2025, Northport NY –  – M.C. Records is celebrating International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month with a special curated 15-song playlist from its releases over the last 28 years.

President of the label Mark Carpentieri said:

We have changed the playlist from last year, so you’ll hear a bunch of different songs. The playlist is just over an hour. It’s always an honor all the great women who have recorded for us.

In 1980, a consortium of women’s groups and historians—led by the National Women’s History Project (now the National Women’s History Alliance)—successfully lobbied for national recognition.
