February 6, 2023, Northport NY -We proudly announce our 3rd annual Black History Month playlist. We have added new songs from last year. The playlist has 20 tracks, some of them are from our Grammy nominated recordings.

These artists are truly amazing and this rich collection of African-American music comes from blues, folk, and gospel. Sadly, some of these great artist are no longer with us but their music lives on and continues to inspire and will for generations.

The BHM playlist includes Odetta, Cyril Neville, Mavis Staples, Marie Knight, Corey Harris, Toshi Reagon, Guy Davis & The Blind Boys of Alabama, Big Jack Johnson, The Lee Boys, Pinetop Perkins, Toshi Reagon,  Sherman Holmes, and Catherine Russell. Click the photo to listen to the playlist.

Since 1976, every U.S. president has officially designated the month of February as Black History Month.
